About The Event
We will be spending the day at Parham House & Gardens, stitching in their charming 'Seed Room'. Once we have settling into stitching, we will be taken around the house, giving us the opportunity to view the wonderful Elizabethan rooms. We will also get the chance to see their fantastic display of stumpwork embroidery, along with my embroidered box 'An English Sonnet', which is on display in 'The Long Gallery'.
The project we are undertaking is the small landscape that features on the lid of the embroidered box. It is a beautiful pastoral landscape scene, made up of a variety of stitches, but with a large amount of French Knots! Everything required for the project will be provided, although if you feel you may need a magnifying glass, please bring one along. The project is on a small scale.
Lunch is not included in this event, so you can either purchase something to eat from the cafe in the garden or you can bring your own pack-lunch.
This course is not a beginners course, some previous stitch experience is required.
I look forward to seeing you there! x
