Based in the heart of the New Forest, I have been stitching since I was a child. As an adult I trained at the Royal School of Needlework (RSN), Hampton Court Palace as a specialist in the art of hand embroidery. I work as a tutor for the RSN at various locations across the UK. However, primarily I run my own embroidery business Cloud Juno and work as a freelance embroiderer and tutor all over the country running workshops and holidays for a variety of organisations. I have also developed a wonderful online community and teach regular Zoom classes with students all around the world. I like to develop my own body of work and I won the category for Raised Embroidery in an Internationally Prestigious competition, run in conjunction with Inspirations Magazine and Beating Around the Bush convention 2018. I recently self-published my first book '50 Blackwork Patterns: Book 1.', which has been positively received. My aim is to encourage the art of hand embroidery making it accessible to all, whilst capturing nature and the beauty of the world around us with thread.
