Join me in-conjunction with the Royal School of Needlework to stitch this fresh and beautiful design of these Tudor inspired ‘Summer Strawberries’ are as lush to look at as they are to stitch!
Celebrate the British summer with this playful Stumpwork design inspired by ripe, juicy strawberries and Tudor embroidery.
You will learn how to create a raised, three-dimensional strawberry, using Stumpwork techniques to build its shape before bringing it to life with colourful threads and creative stitches.
You will explore how to create texture, dimension and detail, from the surface of the strawberry to the leaves and surrounding elements. Chrissie will guide you through the techniques step by step, with plenty of opportunity to develop your Stumpwork skills as your strawberry takes shape.
A fun introduction to dimensional embroidery, this course is suitable for anyone with some previous stitch experience.
